The bicycle leaseplan

Since it's inception back in July 2020, the Gosselin bicycle lease plan is a huge succes! Via this plan our colleagues can lease their bicycle. Gosselin’s hope is that the bike lease plan will motivate its people to exercise more. It is also emphasizing its green ambitions by encouraging as many colleagues as possible to start commuting to work by bicycle. Click here to find out where we have bicycle facilities installed. The Pendelproeverij

Colleagues were able to choose from a mobility menu filled with alternatives for those who are tired of driving in busy traffic. City bikes, electric bikes, speed pedelecs, but also subscriptions for public transport or the many public bicycle initiatives such as Blue-bike and Donkey Republic. This initiative, powered by Lantis, is the perfect way for colleagues to try out new ways to commute to work without having to commit long-term. For a duration of four weeks, they can try out their preferred option for free.

Cycle to work day

Thanks to the success of our previous 'cycle to work days', we organize another one in 2026 on June 3rd. Everybody who cycles to work that day will be treated with a healthy and tasty breakfast!
This event will kick-off the campaign: "30 days less cars", a campaign via which we want to motivate you to leave your car at home and choose for more sustainable commute options.

Cycling to work provides both energy and relaxation

Elena started working as a receptionist at Gosselin in August 2022 and commuted daily from Schilde to work using her mother's electric bike. As soon as she became eligible for the bike lease plan, she didn't hesitate and bought her own bike through Gosselin, a Riese & Müller brand.

Car traded for electric bike

Yana started working at Gosselin in May 2021 and had already privately purchased an electric bike. However, she immediately joined the bike lease plan as soon as she became eligible. The bike is her primary mode of transportation, not only cycling from Zandhoven to Deurne for work but also for all her personal errands.

Generous budget to purchase quality bike

Johan Verbaeten was among the first to participate in the bike lease plan. He happened to be in the market for a new bike and purchased one from Cannondale through Gosselin. He cycles from Schilde to Deurne twice a week, depending on the weather.

To work by bike

On Friday, June 2nd, everyone who came to work by bike was treated to a healthy breakfast. But even non-cyclists who wanted to test the latest electric bikes on a closed circuit signed up. Together with B2Bike, partner of the bike leasing plan, Gosselin tries to convince colleagues to pedal to work occasionally. In total, there were 109 participants.
