Gosselin and the silk road

One Belt One Road (OBOR)
The One Belt One Road initiative is an unprecedented investment project designed to position China as the economic heart of the world. The investments don’t stop at the national borders, however. China also wants to start shipyards in around 60 countries spread throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The project was proposed in late 2013, and according to the latest figures (May 2017), around 50 billion dollars has already been invested. The largest tenders have yet to come, in other words.

Gosselin and the Silk Road
Gosselin has been active on this route for over 20 years, with offices in the most important logistics hubs in China, and its own offices in Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Poland. Thanks to extensive contacts with local operators, we are applying our expertise in ocean and air cargo to rail cargo on an increasing basis.

Springwalk

Gosselin's 'Springwalk' was a success

Our first Seasonal Walk was a success! Almost 50 people used their lunchbreak to stretch their legs and explore some green areas around the Gosselin headquarters in Belgium. Afterwards, the participants were treated to a healthy lunch and a delicious coffee from Anywhere Coffee. This initiative is part of Gosselin's ambition to obtain the label "Sportive company". We aim for more exercise and want to motivate as many colleagues as possible to move more often!
Road VS Rail transport

European Logistics goes Multi-modal!

Gosselin currently launched a new trial project combining the usual road transport with train groupage in Europe. It is the perfect combination between handling large volumes, less reloads, less damage risks, and focusing on sustainability at the same time.
