Brucargo focuses on digitalization of workflows

Gosselin’s Brucargo is part of the Aircargo Belgium community at Brussels Airport. This office has been working on the digitalization of the workflow for a couple years now. The Gosselin team recently won two awards in recognition for all their hard work.

“One project we’re working hard on is the Digital Green Lane. This means that we take delivery of shipments from the operators digitally. We do this by booking slots on a platform, resulting in a major time savings since we don’t want our warehouse workers to line up needlessly. The slots ensure a fast and structured way of working,” according to Martine Versmoesen of customer service.

In June, Brucargo was selected as “best performer”. This wasn’t the first time that the team in Brussels was awarded this special commendation. “Each of our booked slots makes it in time,” Martine adds. “We have zero cancellations or no-shows.” Brucargo also won the “ahead of the curve” award for giving digitalization projects their all, and always striving to achieve better optimization of new applications and their implementation.

Thanks to a solar panel installation of 1.5 MW from ENGIE, Gosselin is becoming a more sustainable logistics player

ENGIE installed a 1.5 MW solar panel installation at the Gosselin site in Antwerp. This installation of more than 3,000 solar panels will allow them to reduce their CO2 emissions by 535 tons per year, equivalent to the annual emissions of 268 diesel cars.Gosselin currently launched a new trial project combining the usual road transport with train groupage in Europe. It is the perfect combination between handling large volumes, less reloads, less damage risks, and focusing on sustainability at the same time.
