First-ever after-work padel event a huge success

Throwback to Friday, March 6, when our very first after-work padel event took place as part of Gosselin Sport.

No fewer than 65 enthusiastic colleagues gathered at Arenal Padel Antwerp for a sporting evening on and off the court. Both experienced players and colleagues who were new to padel were there.

Under the guidance of two padel experts from Arenal, around 15 colleagues were introduced to the sport. And they clearly enjoyed it: after the lesson, they immediately challenged each other to their first matches.

It was particularly nice to see so many new faces. Colleagues who haven't been working at Gosselin for very long, but also athletes from business units who we hadn't welcomed to our Sports and Exercise activities before. Some even traveled quite a distance to be there – from Genk, Mechelen, and Vilvoorde to Antwerp.

The new Team Belgium sports shirts were eagerly donned, the atmosphere was immediately positive, and both during and after the sports activities, it was all about team building. In short: a perfect after-work sports event!

Everyone present agreed: this clearly left us wanting more. We are already looking into the possibilities for a summer edition. A big thank you to our sports ambassadors Nicolas Lens and Dimitri Janssens for organizing the event.
