From Renaissance to Rococo, from Trieste to Yerevan

Our Italian team is well-known for art moves. This time they organized the move of 55 paintings from Trieste, Italy, to Yerevan. The exhibition was desired by the Italian Embassy in Armenia.

Gosselin performed the loading, export clearance with involvement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, transport, import clearance in Armenia with the involvement of the Italian Embassy and the delivery to the museum.

“Moves like this can be challenging”, according to Roberta Tanzi, coordinator of this project. “We had to respect of the tight schedule considering the huge distance and possible unforeseen events along the way. There were also a lot of parties involved, such as the exhibitor, diplomatic entities, customs offices, drivers etc. In these circumstances I always grant my 24/7 availability for emergencies during the full transit.”

The client and organizer of the exhibition, Mrs Alessia Autuori, CEO of Glocal Project Consulting, had this to say about our services:
”We organize exhibitions all over the world and our main concern is the safety of the works of art. This is the reason why we decided to work with Gosselin. Thanks to them we know in real-time where the works of art are located, and the team promptly replies in case of urgencies, coordinating several offices around the globe. An excellent team.”

Thanks to a solar panel installation of 1.5 MW from ENGIE, Gosselin is becoming a more sustainable logistics player

ENGIE installed a 1.5 MW solar panel installation at the Gosselin site in Antwerp. This installation of more than 3,000 solar panels will allow them to reduce their CO2 emissions by 535 tons per year, equivalent to the annual emissions of 268 diesel cars.Gosselin currently launched a new trial project combining the usual road transport with train groupage in Europe. It is the perfect combination between handling large volumes, less reloads, less damage risks, and focusing on sustainability at the same time.

A short walk outdoors every afternoon

Stepping outside to stretch your legs in the afternoon. It sounds almost impossible in Deurne, but Hank Guns has been doing it for over 20 years, discovering some surprising routes along the way. He's a fan of the initiative at Gosselin to focus more on movement and gladly shares his walks with colleagues.
