Gosselin colleagues walk 24 hours for Levensloop Schoten

Last weekend Gosselin took part in the Levensloop Schoten (Relay for Life) in Schoten Park. An initiative of Stichting Tegen Kanker (Foundation Against Cancer) in which many kilometres were run for charity. The Gosselin colleagues were present in large numbers and collected a considerable sum. But more importantly, we had a blast!

The Levensloop is a 24-hour relay where everyone gets to choose how long they run or walk along. Each runner or team seeks sponsors who support them per kilometer or just want to make a spontaneous, generous contribution. "Gosselin contributed to the total sum of 51,159 euros, a record amount by the way," says Team Captain Anne Van Gils proudly. "It was so nice to meet new colleagues and see each other encouraging each other."

The whole Relay for Life even became a friendly competition among the Gosselin colleagues; for the longest walk, for the largest sponsorship. A lot of personal records were broken. And not even the bad weather could stop the night shift. "Team Gosselin was unstoppable," laughs Anne. "But I would also like to thank the team of volunteers who organize this event every year completely selflessly. Also an incredible thank you to all the generous sponsors and our management who put their shoulders to the wheel. On to edition 2025!"

Gender equality

Gosselin signs the Declaration on equal opportunities for women and men in the transport sector

Gosselin currently employs three times more women than the transport sector average, and is still keen on ensuring gender equality within the respective fields of competence. That’s why CEO Marc Smet signed the Declaration on equal opportunities for women and men in the transport sector.
