Gosselin enters into joint-venture with leading office-moving company Transmoove in Vilvoorde, Belgium

Effective April 28, 2023 - Gosselin acquires the two warehouses in Vilvoorde near Brussels as well as 50% of the shares of operating companies Transmoove and NNOF from the current shareholder Vebego. The remaining 50% of the shares of the operating companies are acquired by the current management team under the lead of Christophe Pierre.

"With this acquisition, we will be able to further diversify our service offering with the office moving, office design and furniture refurbishing business. We are impressed by the value proposition of NNOF and Transmoove, the competence and the dynamic of the teams as well as the purpose-built infrastructure", says Marc Smet, CEO of the Gosselin Group.

Marcel Jörg, CEO of Gosselin Moving adds: “The intention is to further strengthen and enhance the moving capacities of Gosselin in its home market Belgium. In addition, Gosselin seeks synergies on the international moving side between the Brussels based Transmoove operation and Gosselin's Antwerp based headquarter operation.”

Finally, it is the intention of the new shareholders to explore the expansion of the business into other European markets in the mid-term.

Road VS Rail transport

European Logistics goes Multi-modal!

Gosselin currently launched a new trial project combining the usual road transport with train groupage in Europe. It is the perfect combination between handling large volumes, less reloads, less damage risks, and focusing on sustainability at the same time.

Gosselin offers mobility menu via the ‘Pendelproeverij’

The ‘Pendelproeverij’ at Gosselin was a success! Colleagues were able to choose from a mobility menu filled with alternatives for those who are tired of driving in busy traffic. City bikes, electric bikes, speed pedelecs, but also subscriptions for public transport or the many public bicycle initiatives such as Blue-bike and Donkey Republic.
