Gosselin Group acquires Delcatrans Group

Delcatrans_Acquisition

Antwerp, October 3, 2025 – Gosselin Group, a leading international logistics service provider, is proud to announce the complete acquisition of Delcatrans Group. With this strategic move, Gosselin acquires 100% of the shares and Delcatrans will be fully integrated into Gosselin's one-stop logistics concept.

This acquisition strengthens Gosselin's position as a major player in the international logistics sector, with a particular focus on West Flanders and Northern France. The expertise of the current Gosselin office in West Flanders (Rumbeke), the customer portfolio, and local market knowledge will make an essential contribution to the further expansion of the integrated logistics services that Gosselin offers in this strategic region.

An important part of the joint strategy is to maximize multimodality. Gosselin will significantly expand the use of inland waterway transport via the inland container terminal in Wielsbeke (RTW) and rail transport via LAR (Rekkem). This strengthening of logistics capacity will enable us to offer customers in West Flanders and Northern France even more sustainable, efficient, and faster solutions.

Delcatrans has more than 44 years of expertise in transport (110 trucks and 200 chassis) and warehousing (more than 15,000 m²). It offers synchromodal transport solutions that mainly connect the Kortrijk-Lille-Tournai-Paris region with the seaports.

The integration of Delcatrans into the Gosselin Group strengthens Gosselin's one-stop logistics concept with a focus on multimodality in West Flanders and Northern France.

“This acquisition fits perfectly with our growth strategy and our ambition to offer customers a total solution for all their logistics needs,” say Marc Smet and Dirk Vanhoutteghem, owners of Gosselin Group. "By integrating Delcatrans into our one-stop logistics concept, we are not only strengthening our offering alongside our inland terminals along the Albert Canal in Deurne and the terminal in Genk Zuid, which opened recently in July, but we are also expanding our presence in West Flanders and, by extension, northern France. What's more, thanks to the multimodal approach, we can offer transport solutions by truck, rail, and inland waterway and provide even better support to our customers. By combining these different modes of transport, we offer fast and environmentally friendly solutions for all transport and logistics needs."

Kristof and Dieter Delbeeke of Delcatrans Group add: “We are proud to be part of the Gosselin Group. The integration offers new opportunities for our employees and strengthens the offering for our customers. Together, we can continue to grow, expand our services, and strengthen our position in West Flanders and Northern France.”

Over the coming months, Delcatrans will be fully integrated into the Gosselin Group. Services for customers and partners will continue to be guaranteed, with the promise of an even more extensive offering, better service, and innovative multimodal solutions thanks to Gosselin's economies of scale and international network.

The acquisition was brokered by consultancy firm De Putter & Co, an M&A expert in transport and logistics.
