Gosselin welcomes Lennert de Jong as Manager European Services

Gosselin is very pleased to welcome Lennert de Jong as Manager European Services. Lennert joined the international moving company on July, 1 and will primarily be working from our BeNeLux offices whilst keeping a close eye on the global groupage opportunities in the ports of Antwerp and Rotterdam.

With 8 years of experience in different roles in the industry with a fellow FIDI agent, Lennert is a well-connected and talented young professional. Lennert will focus on innovation around our European service lines. Lennert and the experienced team members will analyse the current business model on our full truck loads as well as smaller shipments with European origins and destinations and drive potential improvement opportunities.

Marcel Jörg, CCO of Gosselin Mobility: Fully leveraging our size and logistics potential on Intra-European moves is a key part of our strategy. For many large industry players and corporate accounts, intra-European services are still a headache in regards to either cost, transit times, quality and/or compliance. As a pan-European moving company, Gosselin is determined to further optimize its value proposition around intra-European moves. This will set new standards and systematically impress our customers. With the support of Lennert we have come one step closer to achieving our ambitious goal.”

Thanks to a solar panel installation of 1.5 MW from ENGIE, Gosselin is becoming a more sustainable logistics player

ENGIE installed a 1.5 MW solar panel installation at the Gosselin site in Antwerp. This installation of more than 3,000 solar panels will allow them to reduce their CO2 emissions by 535 tons per year, equivalent to the annual emissions of 268 diesel cars.Gosselin currently launched a new trial project combining the usual road transport with train groupage in Europe. It is the perfect combination between handling large volumes, less reloads, less damage risks, and focusing on sustainability at the same time.
