Sport overview 2024
In recent years, Gosselin, spurred on by a sports and exercise project team, has been strongly committed to sport and exercise. We proudly received the ‘Sportbedrijf’ label from Sport Vlaanderen. An extra boost to do even more sport and exercise!

Our colleagues sparkled in their green T-shirts during a completely sold-out competition!
Young Forward soccer tournament
Despite an earlier cancellation due to bad weather, the Young Forward soccer tournament was a lot of fun! Gosselin participated with two teams (FC Antwerp and FC Gossy) in this perfect after-work teambuilding opportunity. We had colleagues on the field and colleagues cheering them on from the sidelines, and went home with a 3rd place for FC Gossy! Well done!
Cockerill beachvolley
Gosselin took part in the Cockerill beachvolley tournament! With a team that made it to the semi-finals and a shared 3rd place, we were pretty happy with the results. But most of all we had good conversations, accompanied by tasty drinks and fun!
Hellvoc beachvolley
Gosselin took part in the Hellvoc Beach tournament with three teams. As soon as the tournament started, the rain stopped and the fun started. Hats off to the organisation and our colleagues who defended the Gosselin honour on the sand!
Cycle To Work Day
World Bike Day was the perfect time to motivate our colleagues to come to work by bike. We did so with a healthy breakfast, coffee, a fun atmosphere, and the opportunity to test out various bike models at our partner B2Bike. With a hundred registrations and dry weather, the day was a success!
This initiative is part of the #gosselinsport campaign, in which Gosselin tries to get its employees to exercise as much as possible. This ranges from commuting to work by bike, to numerous sports events and seasonal walks with all colleagues. Our colleagues at Brucargo, Pasec Port, and Meys Verhuizingen also participated!
Seasonal Walks
We've already had three seasonal walks; Spring, Summer, and Autumn. Rain or no rain, many colleagues gathered during their lunchbreak to stretch their legs and enjoy some fresh air!
Relay For Life
Gosselin took part in the Levensloop (Relay for Life) in Schoten Park, Belgium. An initiative of Stichting Tegen Kanker (Foundation Against Cancer) in which many kilometres were run for charity during a 24hours challenge. The Gosselin colleagues were present in large numbers (day and night) and collected a considerable sum.
Chambers Cup - Czechia
When business activities meet sports, we are in the right spot! Our RunCzech Prague relay team with Gosselin Country Representative Petr Prochazka finished on 9th spot from 41 teams in the Chambers Cup, at 1 hour and 28 minutes.
London Landmarks Half Marathon
Claudia Trunkfield isn’t your ordinary Move Coordinator. She ran a whopping 13,1 miles for the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of Tommy’s charity.
Olympic marathon for amateurs
Two years ago, at a running competition in Paris, Evert qualified to run the Olympic course for amateurs in 2024. A dream for any sports fanatic. The course was identical to that of the real athletes, only it was run at night. It took Evert 3hours and 48minutes to run the 42kilometers with a lot of hills.
Antwerp Marathon
Ten Gosselin colleagues represented our green colors during the Antwerp Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10 kilometers
WK Wielrennen op rollen
Stefan Van Aelst werkt als verhuizer en magazijnier bij Meys Verhuizingen in Brasschaat dat werd overgenomen door Gosselin in 2022. Hij nam deel aan het Wereldkampioenschap wielrennen op rollen als een van de strafste amateurrenners tussen de profs.
