Many art moving projects involve a great deal of planning, hard work and precise time management. This is even more so when the project involves shipping precious art objects on behalf of Sergio Mattarella, President of Italy, to the residence of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian.

A training session was held this past Saturday at Gosselin by the Flemish Foundation for Traffic Education (VSV) for enthusiastic employees who have since become the proud owners of an electric bike or speed pedelec through this bicycle program.

In the next 4 years Gosselin will handle all the international moves for personnel of the Federal Public Services Foreign Affairs, Finance, Justice, Police, Defense and Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue.

“Even in these turbulent times there is still potential for growth”, says Dirk Vanhoutteghem, Director of Gosselin Logistics. “We look at every transport from a multimodal perspective and this explains the 12% growth our barge activities have shown. We are of course very pleased with these figures.”

Effective June 1, the lifting and handling activities of Heavy, a Gosselin Group company, will be handled by Samoco, a member of the Sarens Group.
