Gosselin Move Coordinator finishes half marathon for charity

Claudia Trunkfield isn’t your ordinary Move Coordinator. She ran a whopping 13,1 miles for the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of Tommy’s charity. Her colleagues gladly supported her fundraiser.

“Tommy’s charity is the UK’s largest charity which funds research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth, and premature birth. They also provide expert, mid-wife led, advise for parents before, during, and after pregnancy,” Claudia explains. She ran a half-marathon to raise money and managed to complete the run in 2hours and 42minutes. “I experienced a few aches and pain, but nothing too major,” Claudia laughs. The whole London branch was happy to support their colleague and managed to raise over 1455 pounds for the cause. “Everybody really stood up in support for Claudia and we achieved amazing results. I wish I had so much drive and determination as Claudia has”, colleague Agata Kent adds.

Claudia is satisfied with having raised some money and awareness for Tommy’s charity. “Life is all about growing as a person, pushing yourself to be better and learning in the process. If you can make a positive impact on someone’s life, DO IT. A little smile, caring word or small gesture can mean more to someone than we know. The only limitations we have are those we put in place for ourselves, but life’s greatest achievements are achieved in small steps.. we just need to remember to place one foot in front of the other and keep going!”

Claudia already signed up for next year’s edition for the same charity. Her current donation page remains active until May 7^th.
