WDP and Gosselin combine forces for a sustainable partnership in Logistics

WDP, renowned expert in constructing cutting-edge logistics warehouses, and Gosselin, a specialized provider of international moving and logistics services, have come together in a groundbreaking joint venture. The start of this collaboration comes with the establishment of a new state-of-the-art logistics warehouse at the former Milcobel site in Deurne (Antwerp, Belgium).

Marc Smet, CEO of the Gosselin Group, proudly reveals, "After having acquired the Milcobel site, strategically located near to our existing container terminal, we made the decision to tackle this venture collectively with WDP, recognizing the complementary nature of our operations and our shared vision."

This joint venture represents a fusion of strengths. WDP's expertise in warehouse construction harmonizes seamlessly with Gosselin's excellence in moving and logistics services. "With our shared values of agility, flexibility, and forward-thinking, we are perfectly poised for mutual growth in the future," affirms Andreas Vermost, Development Manager at WDP.

The fruits of this collaboration are already evident. In Deurne, the former Milcobel factory is being transformed into two brand-new, state-of-the-art sustainable warehouses, each spanning an impressive 18,000 square meters. Furthermore, WDP and Gosselin have successfully secured an esteemed project from the Vlaamse Waterweg in Genk through their joint efforts. This will allow Gosselin to connect the dots along the Albert Canal. "This achievement would not have been possible without our collaboration," they declare.

The alliance between WDP and Gosselin exemplifies the power of synergy in the logistics industry. By combining their respective strengths, they are ready to create innovative solutions, drive operational excellence, and deliver enhanced value to their customers.

As this partnership gains momentum, there is much anticipation for the remarkable advancements it will bring. Both companies are committed to nurturing a sustainable and prosperous future, and their shared vision will guide them on this transformative journey.

Gosselin celebrates the opening of its new warehouses along the Albert Canal on the old INZA site

Last weekend they were inaugurated: Two immense warehouses together accounting for 36000 m2 and 1800 m2 of state-of-the-art offices. Two years after the closure of the Milcobel site, a logistics complex with CO2-neutral warehouses directly connected to the company's own Gosselin container terminal along the Albert Canal is rising on the 6.6 ha site. This new expansion brings Gosselin's total footprint on the Albert Canal in Deurne/Schoten to over 350000 m2.
